What's better than a US passport? Having a Canadian one with a green card visa.
See we really do have tea. This is Beibei (right), Lisa and I are sampling teas from Teavana including that expensive blend. At the time these pictures were taken three unrelated events were taking place. The opening of the Olympics in Vancouver, the start of Chinese New Year and Valentines Day. Lisa regaled us with a story of a suitor who arrived unannounced, driving 6 hours to her home, in Canada bearing jewelry, flowers, candy and a teddy bear. He was an American. Now that's romantic and the right way to treat a woman!
In the photo I am sporting an ultra-violet pullover brought as a gift. It's a traditional way to start the New Year with gifts and new clothes. Beibei and Lisa brought both. Though the sizing may hide my shapely figure, it's the color that amazes us all. It brightens another gray and cloudy winter day. With a pair of leggings and the right shoes, look out!
Check out the table. My good friends know enough to bring their own delicacies. My food pantry is rarely stocked. That won't bode well in a state of emergency but I serve my guests with real china. You can't microwave it but it is silly not to use it. Besides, tea always taste best when served in fine bone china teacups.
I want my friends and family to know, names are anonymous unless permission is granted otherwise. Clearly the Chinese Canadians are the first "to get it". The Divine Sisterhood. Who doesn't love Canadians? The same can not be said about the United States. What a great hockey game to end the Olympics yesterday! Eh?
Spring training baseball season is upon us and local males are gearing up for another baseball season.
All is well. Love Always Wins!
